My Motivation to Meditate
My hope for Mind Calm Meditation was that it would bring me peace from my busy mind - a constant chatter that would rarely quieten. I had been trying to meditate for years, but found it really challenging and often a chore. I actually believed there was something wrong with me because I couldnt control my thoughts and emotions. My daily life was filled with worry and distraction. I focussed so much of my life on looking after everyone around me, I had nothing left for myself.
Why I love Mind Calm
Meditating eyes open, especially when I'm being challenged by life, helps me feel more able to meet life's ups and downs from a different, calm perspective. With the help of Mind Calm, I've realised that I dont need anything in my life to be a certain way for me to experience the peace I'd been searching for - finally I'm free, to be me. Instead of being torture and something else to beat myself up about, meditation has become a pleasure - a place of relief, release and a real letting go that I look forward to every day.
With Mind Calm, I've experienced some amazing moments with those I love - without Mind Calm I'd have missed them, while I was lost in the content of my mind. Mind Calm is practical, easy to learn and yet, profound.
